Gravimetric Analysis with DSC/DTG

While the temperature and heat flow between the sample and the reference product can be measured with DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry) thermal analysis, DTG (Differential Thermal Thermogravimetric) analysis is used to determine the maximum level of product consumption. By obtaining time and temperature functions from these analyses, the structural characterizations of the materials are determined. With these gravimetric methods used in the research and quality control of pharmaceutical products, the optimization of packaging and production processes is ensured, while the structural properties of active and auxiliary substances such as melting temperatures, specific heat capacities and purity can be measured.
